ALIVE IN FAITH, CALLED TO DISCIPLESHIP
Our Parish Religious Education Program welcomes all students in Grades 1-8 who are not attending a Catholic school or receiving religious education at home. Students attend class on Sundays from September through April. Classes are designed to assist the parents in educating their children in the Catholic faith. Teachers follow the Religion Course of Study for each grade prepared by the Catholic Diocese of Toledo. Students in grade 2 receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. Students in grade 8 receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. There are sessions for both parents and students regarding the Sacraments, as well as retreats for the students. Our preparation for Sacraments is a two year process, so students are required to have attended a religious education program for both 1st and 7th grades prior to receiving the Sacraments in 2nd and 8th grade. Please contact Sarah Roof for further details - 419-644-4014
Faith groups ranging anywhere from 6-12 people, held at multiple locations, including the Parish Center as well as homes of parishioners. The group format is to meet for fellowship and a gathering prayer, read through the Sunday Gospel for the upcoming weekend, watch a video describing the Gospel in more detail, and review the reading with some discussion questions among the group. Days of the week and start times vary for each group. There are two sessions per year, a Fall & Spring Session, each lasting approximately 8 weeks. Please contact Sarah Roof at email@example.com, or 419-644-4014 if you are interested in joining or leading a group.
